Is this device 5G-capable, i.e. can you use a SIM or e-SIM to access the Internet independently?

I was able to do a search and according to the manufacturer it is "upgradable to 4G" but without a SIM card slot. I assume that there were preparations, but no network card for mobile communications was installed, so no, it is not 5G-capable. In such cases, you can also resort to such mobile 5G routers as an alternative:
Acer Enduro M3
ZTE F50 5G
Alternatively, we have the following two models with 5G and eSIM:
