Is this device suitable for connecting an old games console (Nintendo 64) to a modern HD TV?
You can connect the Nintendo 64, just plug the hdmi into the converter and the power and start playing. note that the picture on the new tvs is not so great.
Nintendo 64 with connection AV With HD Converter MINI HDIM2AV UP Scaler 1080p on Beamer . wonder why this does not work no signal
Why doesn't it work for me? the Nintendo 64 still runs fine, but the adapter doesn't send a signal... ?
I'm also aiming to connect my N64 to a new Samsung TV... I'm currently using the following: Speedlink RFU adapter for connecting the Xbox/Playstation1 and 2/Gamecube/N64 to the TV - from Amazon. The only problem is that either the cable has a loose connection or it does its best, which is unfortunately hardly usable, because the picture flickers extremely and switches back to blue or green again and again. Depending on the movement of the cable. It is connected to the N64 and the antenna connection. I am fully aware that the picture will probably be somewhat pixelated, but that it flickers like that straight away... shouldn't be the case, should it? Would this converter help?
