Is this hard drive (120Gb/240Gb) compatible with Raspberry Pi 4B? Important: it must run without an external power supply. I want to connect the hard drive directly to the RPi via a SATA-USB3 adapter.

Should run without problems SSD Sata don't need much power, so it should definitely work via the adapter.
