I'm really starting to think that the sales charts for certain products with very poor ratings are being manipulated on the promotions. I just can't imagine that there are people who spend 4k with such a bad product rating.

There has long been a desire that only people who have actually bought products should be allowed to rate them. Everything else distorts the statistics and is therefore no longer meaningful. Nothing has happened in this direction so far.
