My Canon Pixma Ix6550 refuses to power up, which (as is standard in the industry) cannot be repaired. Unfortunately, this model is no longer available, which is why the successor model Ix6850 is recommended, which probably does not work with the existing colour cartridges, so I would probably have to write off a larger supply of cartridges. Question: Can the existing CLI-526 & PGI-525 cartridges still be used in the IX6550?

CLI-550PBK, CLI-551BK, 551C, 551M, 551G
This printer has a high print quality. There are also cheaper compatible cartridges for the printer.
