Question about the language versions. I use Windows mostly in English, but would like to have the option of switching to the German version from time to time. Is it really the case that Microsoft is charging me almost 90 euros more just to give me the option of switching the language on my Windows 11 Pro?

No, changing the language version is no problem with any Windows 11 version and costs nothing, you can simply download it as a language pack and change the menus to English or German. It also works with Windows 10.
