Saving electricity: Recently I have been reading that OLED TVs should not be disconnected from the power supply. Other articles say that the OLED TV should only be disconnected from the power supply after a few minutes. What is Digitec's or the Digitec community's position on this? Maybe it's even worth a short article?

The latest TVs, such as the 65OLED806 from Philips, consume less than 0.5 watts in standby, which means that they are certainly not power-hungry in the household. WLAN routers that run 24/7 are certainly better suited for optimisation.
A good article on this - even if it is no longer up to date - can be found at hifi.de, which has dealt with the topic in detail: https://hifi.de/ratgeber...

The conclusion is: OLED TVs should not be disconnected from the power supply all the time if they are used frequently, except during holidays.
