Since this is an OEM version, my question is: is the operating system hardware-bound, or can it be reactivated when the mainboard is changed?

Wrong ! If you change only one hardware, Microsoft will notice. I had the same problem with Office (original).

Hello. Whether OEM or retail - the behaviour is the same. If it has been activated once and too many hardware changes are made, the activation expires and must be reactivated. This may only be possible via telephone with Microsoft.....
