So I want to buy the COOLER MASTER MF120 (2). and wanted to ask what all I need to fully use the fans? So what exactly do I need to get the fans running? Thanks in advance for the answer(s). Kind regards.

Hello LiamA I agree with Elme_12 and JayHawk. it depends on how much comfort you want. Connecting via motherboard should be no problem nowadays, to configure the fan you might have to adjust the fan speed in the bios first and then check after booting if it fits. If you like it convenient, I recommend the NZXT RGB & Fan Controller. After wiring the PC, boot it, go to the NZXT website via browser and download the NZXT Cam software, set up a user account and from now on you can access the fans and / or RGB strips directly in Windows or Linux and readjust them. I for one find the NZXT RGB & Fan Controller cool.
Lg and have fun with the screws

In principle, today's motherboards usually already have enough connectors for RGB fans (note motherboard specification) but it is practical for motherboards that do not offer RGB support (such as aura sync etc.), I use this controller for 4 fans and an AIO pump with RGB because I had too few connectors and all products were from NZXT.

I recommend the NZXT RGB & Fan Controller because you can hide it in the case and mount 3 fans and 3 RGB strips. It has 4 pins so your fans should also have a 4-pin connector. The NZXT controller comes with magnets (very flat) so you can easily stow it away.
