Hello Selimi

The 4070 Ti really is a beast. I usually always bought the top card too, the xx80. (not the xx90, I admit).
The great thing about the 4070 Ti (especially compared to the 3000 cards) is that the chip is very energy efficient. The card needs much less power than a comparable 3000 and with undervolting you can get even more out of it.

The performance is sufficient for games that do not have ray tracing/no DLSS or AMD FSR for WQHD in all cases for 90 FPS. This means that for 4K, it should actually be enough for 60 FPS in any case. The question is whether 60 FPS is enough for you (or your eyes). In many cases, however, the card will run well above 60 FPS even at 4K.

The sticking point is when ray tracing comes into play. Games with ray tracing that are without DLSS/AMD FSR, you can only shake your head at. You might achieve 45-60 FPS with the 4070 Ti in WQHD. If DLSS 3 with Frame Generation is available, then things take off. The FPS then almost triples, I can confirm. This means that in the case of ray tracing + DLSS 3 incl. Frame Generation, the 4070 Ti will reach at least 60 FPS or more even in 4K.

With a 4080 Ti, you will probably achieve another 15% more performance, i.e. you have even more buffer. But depending on your preference (also in terms of price/performance) you can think about it. I am absolutely thrilled with the card here from A to Z.

Probably not! But it works really well for 3440x1440!

If you play games that support DLSS it might be okay for 4K.
