I assume with transmitter is the little thing that plugs into a USB port. This can be dipped without any problems as this mouse supports the Logitech Unifying standard. The mouse just needs to be paired with the new transmitter. This is easy, just start the Logitech Unifying software on your PC and follow the instructions. The software can be downloaded from Logitech if not available.
