The camera is mounted for indoor use according to the instruction manual, the PIR sensitivity is set to 1 and yet I often receive false alarm messages (push and email); I always receive false alarms just after I switch off the live view. What can I do to stop receiving false alarms?

PoE and WiFi cameras identify movement by comparing the two frames (before and after). If there is a difference between the two frames, the motion detection alarm is triggered.

For example, false alarms caused by day/night mode shifts are inevitable due to the working principles and algorithm of motion detection. Intense movements such as rain/snowflakes, insects attracted to IR lights can also cause frequent alarms for which there may not be a good solution.

To reduce false alarms, you can try these two suggestions:
Determine working time: https://support.reolink.com/hc...
Determine motion detection area: https://support.reolink.com/hc...
