The delivery deadline says: delivered the day after tomorrow (would have been today), now it will be later. When ordering now, it still says: delivered the day after tomorrow... so is that a phrase, or what?

After a certain time, the parcel can only be sent the next day. Therefore, the day after tomorrow is displayed.
The parcels should be dispatched on the same day if the item is in stock. Unfortunately, it can always happen, e.g. due to a large order volume, that a package is delayed during transport.
