the measurements in the specifications are definitely wrong.it is clear from the picture that it is not wider than it is long. and certainly not thicker than it is wide.

The measurements are obviously related to the first picture. So height = measured from the back to the front of the mouse, width = measured from left to right, length = the depth seen from above.
It's a bit misleading but still understandable. Here are the dimensions as it probably makes sense to you: L = 97.7mm, W = 61.5 mm, H = 35.2mm
