The price went from 145fr to almost 400fr in the space of a few days... and now it's well over 300fr. I don't mind prices fluctuating, but isn't there a problem here?

As an alternative, Crucial currently offers the MX500 with 1000 GB or 500 GB from stock.

Or then alternatives from Samsung, such as the 870 EVO:

The fastest memories from Crucial and other brands are often only available for the SSD M.2 interface.

Exactly, the SSD is no longer being produced, so these are the last new devices on the market and thus the price rises according to the logic of supply and demand. More information here: https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-compone...

As soon as an item is out of stock and difficult to deliver, the price skyrockets.
So it's not really a problem, but rather a marketing/sales technique.
At least, that's what I've noticed with a lot of items.
