Question about XGIMI Halo+
The XGIMI Halo+ (New) will be available from 2024. Will this also be available to buy on digitec.ch? If so, when?
Digitec/Galaxus is already offering the new version, as I was able to see before I decided to buy the current discounted version around a fortnight ago. It is labelled 2nd generation. This version is currently CHF 270 more expensive.
In this context, I looked up the differences between the two versions on the Internet. From what I found, the difference seems to lie only in the software (or firmware).

In my opinion, the advantage of the price reduction of the previous version clearly outweighed the software advantage of the new version.
In principle, this also applies to Netflix users, as there is an on-device solution for the previous version.
