There's no sound in the combinet when you pick it up, but you can hear the interlocutor without the sound going out and the other end of the line hearing it.

Sorry, I can't help you. We can answer all the calls and we hear them but the answering machine is not in our language.... this phone is not very easy to set up and there is no one to help us.
