This stick has already failed twice, once it was completely defective, the second time no write authorisation when copying a Samsung tablet. I formatted it each time with exFAT so that I can copy larger files and also across devices. What went wrong? Was I just unlucky? I don't want to destroy it again. Does anyone have a special type!!!! Thanks

Well, you can test a USB stick with the Heise tool H2testw 1.4, maybe it is simply defective? The tool is available free of charge, it writes the stick completely and then reads the data again, if there is a defect, the tool would then report it.

https://www.heise.de/download...

By the way, this tool also makes it very easy to detect counterfeit sticks, because if the data can suddenly no longer be read, then you have caught a fake (e.g. the reason why I would never order a USB stick from Aliexpress, a very large percentage of them are simply counterfeit).
