Question about Logitech MX Keys S

This version of the MX Keys S was supplied with a Logi Bolt (not Unifying) USB A dongle. Surely this dongle should also be compatible with the MX Master 4 mouse (mouse does not connect)? No dongle was supplied with the mouse. Does it really have to be the USB C dongle, is there a difference and could you also connect the keyboard with it or do you need two dongles? https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/logitech-bolt-usb-c-receiver-maus-tastatur-zubehoer-58970956

Yes - the MX Keys S and MX Master 4 use Logi Bolt, but each device must be paired separately with the Bolt dongle.
You cannot use the same USB dongle for keyboard and mouse at the same time → you need two dongles if you want both to run via Bolt.

Alternative:
Both devices can also be connected via Bluetooth without a dongle - then you don't need a receiver at all.
