Unfortunately, I can't use it in clamshell mode. What is the reason for this?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the DisplayLink app does not support clamshell mode when the MacBook uses an Intel CPU (with macOS 11). Unfortunately, this behaviour is the same for any docking station based on DisplayLink technology.
If you have a MacBook with an M1 chip, then the clamshell mode should work without any problems.
