We have Blu-ray film recordings that a cameraman made at a family party. Can I insert the Blu-ray disc and save/archive the data digitally on the PC/stick?

The film recordings can be played back with this device and of course also saved on the PC or a USB stick. To play the saved film from the PC or stick, you need software that can read Blu-Ray or DVD files (e.g. PowerDVD from CyberLink).

It depends on the DVD's anti-piracy protection

If not, yes, it can read and burn DVDs, and if it's a data DVD you can transfer files.

No problem if the BD is approved by the cameraman.

Unfortunately I cannot answer your question, as I have to change my PC before installing the blue ray.
