What about the issue of burn-in? E.g. in sports broadcasts such as football or tennis, where the scoreboard is in the same place for hours, or also station logos?

Burn-in is basically not an issue. I play (CoD, Fifa, GTA, NBA2K) and watch sports most of the time. If you ONLY have CNN or some kind of news programme open and ONLY watch that, then "burn-in" can occur. Otherwise not really. And I game a lot :) btw, the LG77C1 is perfect for gaming :)
