Question about Verbatim Slimline

What about the reading speed of CDs, DVDs, Blurays? I'll have to back up my CD collection... On the big river, someone wrote that CDs are burned at 24 times the speed, so I assume the reading speed is the same or higher? Even Verbatim doesn't say anything about that...

I haven't had any problems with the reading speed so far. However, I need the Verbatim Slimline mainly to burn BlueRay videos. The data quality and not the speed is in the foreground.
