What do you think about using this HD in a NAS for private use (as back-up and photo storage)? The plan is to use the NAS only a few hours per week, i.e. switch it on, back up / save data, shut it down again. Or in other words: few operating hours, but many switch-on and switch-off cycles. If I had to estimate, I would say about 3 times a week for 2 hours of operation.
