What is more worthwhile with the Macbook Air 2022... get the 8gb version and upgrade to 16gb yourself or wait until Digitec sells the 16gb version?

Umm, I think you missed something... The M2 is an SoC with memory and RAM soldered close to the processor unit.
Apple has been soldering both for at least 5 years.

In short, you can't upgrade anything.

Definitely buy 16 GB, whether waiting or via Apple I can't say.

Since Tim took over, Apple does everything to stop you from upgrading. You will have to pay 1000 CHF for an upgrade that costs 200 CHF if it were a PC laptop.
