What is the difference between Logitech M235 Red at 15.70 and M235 Anthracite at 23.85? What is the reason for the price difference? The description still says clickable mouse wheel - what is that good for?

Hello Chlaut

The most important difference is the mouse sensor/surface scanning:
The cheap M235 Red has optical sensing, the expensive M235 Anthracite has laser sensing.
The laser is better if you have a shiny table surface or even a glass table.

Clickable means:
When you scroll the scroll wheel, you can feel the detents.
You can switch this off so that you can scroll smoothly.
With raster you scroll digitally: i.e. 3 lines per click.
Without raster analogue, i.e. line by line.

However, both M235s only have the digital version: i.e. clickable. According to the photo

Both M235s have a USB nano receiver.
If you want to use the mouse with a notebook, you need a USB slot.
These are rare on a notebook anyway.
So I would use a Logitech mouse with a Bluetooth connection.
e.g. the M650
The M650 is 10.5 cm long
The M650L is 11.5 cm long
