And yes the difference between the black and white mouse is the color. The 2 & 3 are both rechargeable with the lightning, magic mouse 1 takes a pair of AA batteries. So if it rechargeable it is a 2 or 3 and apparently there is no difference that I can see from any web page.

I gave the mouse to someone as a present. It's an absolute ulcer... useless for everyday work. Would never buy it again.

That doesn't mean anything to me either.

I have both in use, there is no difference apart from the colour.

I don't know the black mouse, so I can't tell you the difference.
