What kind of headset would you recommend for the xbox one x? Beyerdynamic MMX 300 2nd gen (over-ear) or Turtle Beach Stealth 700X (Over-Ear)

Recommend the Astro A40 as the only headset where you can hear differences in altitude.

Perfect choice, just remember that if you take a stereo headset you might have to use a Soundblaster from Creative (I can personally recommend) because otherwise you have relatively little boost and everything might sound very quiet.

Astro headsets are just overpriced and cheaply made.
Any HyperX Cloud sounds better than the Astros, Turtlebeaches, etc.

Have you been playing surround or stereo so far? If only stereo and you want to stay with 2.0, I can fully recommend the mmx 300. I use it myself with a Sennheiser GSX 1000 on a PC - excellent! Cheers
