When I start a game and am in Discord at the same time, the headset starts to regulate the sound completely on its own and I no longer have any control over it. The game sound is muffled when someone speaks in Discord, otherwise it is extremely loud. Does anyone else have this problem or what can I do about it?

That doesn't sound like a heatset problem but a Discord problem. It works perfectly for me. Have a look under voice and video chat there is the option attenuation, is it perhaps at 100%? Just turn it down or completely off with 0%
