Who has a jerky picture (not smooth when the camera pans) with Netflix 4K films and Dolby Vision? Can't be with such an expensive TV!

Are you using an Apple TV Box? If so, I was able to completely fix the problem by adjusting the video format settings in the AppleTVBox settings. The difference is extreme. By default, the 1080p 50hz SDR format was selected, which led to extreme stuttering during fast camera movements that should otherwise appear very smooth. I was finally able to eliminate any stuttering by selecting the 1080p 59.94hz or 1080p 60hz video format. There is also a function called "adapt to content" where you could select the function "adapt to bitrate". However, this function led to minor disturbances in specific recordings, such as a moving recording of desert sand. If you want to try and test the whole thing with a film on Netflix, I recommend the film Dune from minute 38:35 to minute 39:50. With this film sequence, I had massive stuttering with the old format setting. The shots of the desert sand also allow you to see the smaller glitches.

I have the same problem with the jerking. I have already tried various settings with Truemotion, but it has not improved. Anyone have another solution? It's very tedious and really sad for such an expensive TV!

It depends on the playback device, if a media player is connected externally, this can indeed be jerky because perhaps the media player box sends the images to the TV with the wrong settings or is too weak. With the TV and the built-in programmes, this can also be remedied with TrueMotion, and there is also a setting where you can adjust the interframe calculation. With the LG, you can do this with Deblur and Dejudder. One makes the images sharper and the other ensures smoother playback. You can set values from 0 to 10 for Deblur or Dejudder and just have to fiddle around a bit until it works. It may also be necessary to adjust these settings individually for each HDMI input or for each source, as not all sources need the same settings so that there is no more judder.
