These headphones actually work with an Apple iPad Air 2022. The sound quality is good and the earbuds are rather more comfortable than those from the old iPad.

N.B. It does function with an Apple iPad Pro 2022, HOWEVER, for me, it only works when restarting the iPad. At times, despite restarting, it takes a bit of time till the tablet recognises the earphones. It can be frustrating when one requires the earphones immediately, e.g. during calls.

The Apple IPad 2022 has USB C and so this should work.
