**** Take the WD19TB Dock for the MacBook 16". ****

There are several versions of the WD19 Dock:

1.) WD19 USB-C with 130W PSU and 90W output for DELL and non-DELL devices.
2.) WD19 USB-C with 180W PSU and 130W output for DELL devices and 90W for non-DELL devices
3.) WD19TB Thunderbolt 3 with 180W PSU and 130W output for DELL devices and 90W for non-DELL devices
4) WD19DC USB-C which has two USB-C connections, 240W PSU and 210W output for selected DELL devices, max 130W for most DELL devices via single link and 90W for non-DELL devices.

Furthermore, with USB-C 3.1 the bandwidth is limited to 10Gbit, which is why you have to consider which monitors can be connected. For 4k at 60Hz, Thunderbolt or USB-C 3.2 is clearly recommended, as 12.5Gbit bandwidth is required for 4k 60Hz. 4k at 30Hz is possible via USB-C 3.1, as it only requires half of the 6.2Gbit bandwidth.

It works on my Dell docking, but unfortunately not on the Dell laptop directly. MacBook Pro unfortunately not tested.
