Will this docking station be compatible with any Thinkpad? What is more advantageous, this ThinkPad Hybrid or ThinkPad Thunderbolt 4 Dock?

This docking station will probably be compatible with every Thinkpad. However, sometimes it still needs firmware updates etc.
The ThinkPad Hybrid still has the adapter for USB-A, which I didn't see on the Thunderbolt 4 dock. In addition, the ThinkPad Hybrid was sometimes significantly cheaper.
When I compare the connections, the Thunderbolt 4 dock seems to have slightly more connections.
