Will this work with something like B&O BeoLab 8000 speaker, I.e. a powered speaker, which automatically switches to low power when there is no audio signal? Or would such speakers be active all the time?

Just to close the circle on this--we have been using this setup for a number of months now and it works flawlessly.

It should work according to our info. However, the Bluetooth connection should always be disconnected if the low-power mode should activate.
