Apart from the packaging, there is no difference. Advanced is also a misnomer, in fact this is simply the OEM/Bulk Order version which comes in a brown box instead of a fancy box.

That's a good question, and I'll go along with it: Does the Advanced not come with a receiver? And is what is included here (with the non-advanced) a Unify receiver?

Is the difference that the buttons can be programmed on the Advanced and not on the other?
