A ventilated mattress is particularly important for your baby as it prevents unhealthy heat build-up, removes exhaled CO2, and allows for free breathing. Quality points are awarded based on the design of the air channels and ventilation systems.

Mattress cover: 5
All Träumeland covers are removable, washable at 60°C (with the exception of natural covers), and air-permeable. The quality points depend on the type of cover and whether a side ventilation band is incorporated for enhanced air permeability.

Mattress core: 3
A point-elastic core adapts perfectly to the body, yielding only where pressure is applied to protect the spine. Mattresses that are too hard are unsuitable for a baby's soft bone structure. Products with special foam receive more quality points than those with soft and cold foams due to their excellent properties.

All labelled Träumeland mattresses have been tested and passed the safety requirements of the European DIN standard EN16890:2017. In accordance with the current mattress standard, our mattresses feature a safety zipper without a pull tab, ensuring that the child cannot open the cover. To open the closure, a tool (e.g., a paper clip) must be used temporarily.
