The development of discourse, modes of transmission and reception, and the linguistic, artistic, and narratological back-and-forth underpin the concept of "passage." Thus, the temporal and spatial dimensions of "passage," with its transient, diachronic, heterotopic, and even utopian qualities, create a kind of allegorical anamorphosis, a literary, aesthetic, or historical phenomenon in constant evolution. Its porous boundaries generate a continuous oscillation between the Self and the Other, between the creator, whatever their identity, and the recipient. This Franco-German volume is situated within an intercultural approach. The various analyses in French and German aim to illuminate the "passage" within the arts, literature, civilization, and linguistics.
