Multiperspective Views on a Century of Scholarship. The 100-year history of the University of Hamburg serves as the occasion for this multi-volume publication, which approaches the complexity of the university from multiple perspectives. Following Volume 1, which addresses general aspects (2020), Volumes 2 to 4 contain contributions on individual subjects and institutes. Around 100 authors are involved in the overall project. Volume 2 focuses on the disciplines of the current Faculty of Humanities (including Theology) and Psychology. Using various methodological approaches and a broad range of sources, the development of these disciplines is analyzed both through overviews and specific excerpts and questions.
