After "Eric and Others," Walter Thümler presents his second volume of narrative prose with a collection of twenty-four portraits. The protagonists strive to break free from self-imposed and socially imposed constraints or to respond to fateful events. With these portraits, the author invites readers to accompany another person through the trials and tribulations of their life and perhaps to realize: The other, that could also be me.
