In grades 1 and 2, familiar everyday topics are at the center, creating an emotional connection to the English language. In grades 3 and 4, children travel by ship to various islands and the home countries of the crew.

Activity Book with audio CD. The Activity Book is filled with action-oriented tasks, which are expanded from grade 3 with reading and writing exercises. Additional components include tear-out portfolio pages that allow children to review and document what they have learned, mini flashcards for playful vocabulary exercises, and an audio CD with songs and texts from the teaching material.
