Young-Hwan Yeo, Mr Resot Iggau, Shahanum Shah, 2012Product details
"A Causal Attribution" is a comprehensive study on the causal attribution of success and failure among diploma music students in the Aural Skills department at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia. This study highlights how students perceive their performance in this subject and analyzes four key dimensions: effort, musical ability, teaching staff, and social background. Through a survey of 50 students aged 18 to 20, the factors influencing their perception of success or failure were identified. The results show that effort and musical ability are the leading categories of causal attribution, followed by background and teaching staff. Additionally, gender-specific differences in attribution factors are examined, with significant differences found in the categories of musical ability and effort. This academic book offers valuable insights into the psychological aspects of learning in the field of music and serves as an important resource for students and professionals in music education.
