You read and hear it more and more often: Science Slam. Concise and well-prepared topics from the world of science on stage – it’s something you’d want to watch. Until now, it has been very rare to truly take home the speakers and their topics. That does sound a bit strange, such an invitation. With this book, we have set ourselves the task of transforming good presentations from various fields into a readable format. This is a Science Slam on paper – nothing more, but also nothing less. The topics are diverse: What dark thoughts does a virus harbor when it enters a cell, what’s going on with the orchestral landscape, who or what is Durchsonnung, stars and labor law, diamonds, anteaters, and much more – all of this can be found in this book. You can also rate the texts yourself, as is customary in a slam.
