The language book for grade 4 continues the methodology and concept from grade 3 and meets the requirements of the LehrplanPLUS Bayern. The grammar topics for grade 4 are systematically prepared, with a particular focus on competency orientation. Additionally, topics from general knowledge education are incorporated. The tasks are oriented around four learning areas: speaking and listening, reading - dealing with texts and other media, writing, and examining and reflecting on language use. Numerous communicative exercise formats, such as "I-You-We" tasks, are employed. In writing conferences, students can provide targeted feedback on their texts, which they can then revise independently. Each chapter concludes with a "What have I learned?" double page, where the central chapter contents are reviewed in exercise form. Students can check and document their learning progress here. The accompanying answer booklet also allows for independent checking. With the separate seasonal chapter, individual integration of seasonal topics into the teaching process is possible. The following chapter "Learning to Learn" contains tips on social forms, meaningful practice, as well as research and presentation. A vocabulary list for basic vocabulary and a glossary of important technical terms conclude the language book.
