The volumes of the series "Adventures in Ethics - Berlin" aim to engage and motivate students in an appealing way regarding ethical questions and problems, so they can find and articulate a well-considered and reasoned standpoint on issues related to their life and value orientation. The concept takes into account the interdisciplinarity of the subject of ethics as well as its philosophical core, meaning that philosophy serves as the guiding and reference science. Education in empathy, independent thinking, and reflection, as well as the promotion of moral and ethical competence, play a central role. The volume for grades 7/8 is divided into five units: Finding oneself, acting freely and responsibly, living with others, dealing with values and norms, and searching for truth and meaning.
