This picture book tells the sensitive story from the perspective of a small child as he experiences the illness and eventual death of a loved one, and what helps him cope with the loss. Grandma Anna is wonderful; she cooks well, tells amazing stories, and is the most important person in the life of a little boy who loves dragons above all else. The world is fine until one day the elderly grandma falls ill. Fears arise, but thankfully, Mom is there to comfort him. Dad is also important so that the whole family can say goodbye to Anna at the funeral. The many memories of the beautiful time they shared help the family cope with the loss. The boy finds particular comfort in being able to tell Anna's story about the dragon with the magic suitcase. This strong creature has also already begun its final journey.
