Movement can aid in learning! Students can absorb information not only through visual and auditory analyzers but also through their sense of movement. Furthermore, even low-intensity movements improve the brain's oxygen supply and thus enhance information processing. Based on our experiences and research findings, students are very interested in active forms of learning, and their joy in learning can be increased. The introduction explains the importance of movement for the development of children and adolescents and presents the structuring of selection criteria. The subsequent collection of examples incorporates extensive experiences, ideas, and contributions, especially from colleagues at the project schools "Bewegte Schule," subject didactics experts, students, and trainees. The didactic-methodical recommendations are included.
