Product details
In a lecture published in 1949, the great liberal economist and later Nobel laureate Friedrich August von Hayek stated that liberal intellectuals should regain the courage to envision utopia. A liberal radicalism is necessary to influence public opinion. If there has been a thinker in this century who has consistently fulfilled this task, it was the American economist Murray N. Rothbard (1926-1995). Rothbard's advocacy for a market-oriented liberalism, which was so coherent and radical that the transition to anarchism became more than fluid, may have shocked some readers of his works. The book 'The Ethics of Liberty', now available in its first German edition, which was originally published in America in 1980, certainly provides provocative food for thought that leaves no one untouched.
