Joachim (Achim) Heider, born on July 2, 1944, in Bad Landeck, is a producer, composer, and occasionally performed as a singer under the pseudonym Alfie Khan. He took accordion lessons at the age of 10 and began his career as a pianist with the "Bellboys" alongside Walter Becher in 1958 at the age of 14. Later, he worked with ADDI JET, the singer of the group "ADDI JET AND THE JETNICK'S," along with Walter Färber (vocals/guitar) and Lothar Marquardt (drums) in Berlin. He later left the group to further his education in piano and composition. His first major success as a composer came in 1965 with "Alle Wünsche kann man nicht erfüllen," sung by Michael Holm. He is also known for discovering Marianne Rosenberg and Christian Anders, whom he produced for several years.
