Achim Weber (March 11, 1969) is a German football player who has worked as a sports director since the end of his playing career. He spent most of his career with clubs from the Ruhr area. He played 9 Bundesliga matches (1 goal), 102 second division matches (44 goals), and 46 regional league matches (22 goals) for SC Fortuna Köln, Rot-Weiss Oberhausen, VfL Bochum, Wuppertaler SV, and finally Rot-Weiss Essen. After his active career, Weber obtained his A-license coaching qualification and worked as the sports director for the regional league club Wuppertaler SV Borussia starting in May 2006. Due to internal disputes, he was dismissed by WSV Borussia president Friedhelm Runge in November 2007. In April 2008, Weber signed a contract with SSVg Velbert that lasted until the end of the season.
