Product details

Adam Heinrich von Bose (March 3, 1667, in Unterfrankleben; May 21, 1749, in Mölbis) was the hereditary, feudal, and judicial lord of Mölbis, Tragis, Lohme, Nickern, and Unterfrankleben, a royal Polish general of infantry, governor of the city and fortress of Wittenberg, and a knight of the Military Order of St. Henry. Bose came from the Saxon noble family von Bose and consciously chose not to use the noble title "von" in the spelling of his name. He was the son of the Privy Councillor Christoph Dietrich Bose of Frankleben, Nickern, and Mölbis. His brothers included the cathedral provost Johann Balthasar Bose, the Privy Councillor Christoph Dietrich Bose, the Merseburg Privy and Appellate Councillor Wolf Dietrich Bose, and Lieutenant Colonel Gottlob Sigismund Bose.
